Programs

              

Seva works to prevent blindness, restore sight, and develop the sustainability of local eye care institutions in Asia. The organization’s eye care programs are present in Nepal, Tibet, Cambodia, India, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Pakistan, Egypt and Guatemala. Seva’s Native American Community Health (NACH) Program is designed to support Native entrepreneurs and grassroots organizations dedicated to building healthy Native communities affected by type II diabetes. The organization reports that the NACH program creates access to healthy, traditional foods, reconnects people to traditional, community-rich forms of exercise (such as dancing) and leads to revitalized knowledge and interest in traditional food practices.
