Programs

              

COTA staff work with patient families to recruit local volunteers trained by the organization to conduct fund raising in their local communities, as well as throughout the world using COTA’s web-based tools. COTA reports that most volunteer groups do a dozen or more special events (such as garage/rummage sales, golf outings, car washes), as well as request support from businesses, foundations and individual members of their community. Each volunteer group also has a fund raising website, which raises, on average, more than $5,000 in honor of patients.
