Programs

CRR seeks to secure universal, safe and affordable contraception, as well as accessible and legal abortions. CRR works within the court system to defend the rights of pregnant women and tries to ensure that reproductive health care services are provided free of discrimination, coercion and violence, domestically and internationally. CRR also defends the right to privacy and confidential doctor/patient relationships. In addition, the organization aims to advance the reproductive rights of adolescents and seeks to eliminate practices that harm women and girls. In 2007, CRR adopted a new strategic plan that focuses on reorienting its domestic work around the human rights framework it promotes internationally, pairing litigation with other human rights strategies and policy advocacies, and integrating a diversity plan with programs and organizational strategies.

For the year ended December 31, 2006, CRR's program expenses were:

Domestic 3,990,251
