Programs

              

Through its disaster response program, CCUSA assists relief operations of local communities recovering from disasters. CCUSA is also involved in social policy and provides a national voice for the needs and concerns of its members and the people it serves. It advocates for just public policies that empower people and alleviate the conditions that perpetuate poverty. The organization also provides membership services and supports its membership by providing a range of services that promote ongoing education, networking, etc. These membership services include web-based training and information, a quarterly newsletter, annual gathering, and other printed resources. Furthermore, CCUSA applies for federal grants on behalf of local agencies that want to participate in its programs.
