Programs

TBC assists Holocaust survivors by helping with the cost of dental care, medicine, rent, food and other essentials. The organization also operates a stipend and a Jewish holiday program in which survivors are given checks of $100 to $300 and, in the latter, survivors are provided with $200 for the High Holidays, ($100 for Hanukkah, and $200 for Passover), which gives the individuals the financial means to have a happy holiday season. In addition, TBC provides personal emergency response systems to survivors who need the system but do not have the financial resources to pay for installation, service, and maintenance. Through TBC’s "Bring A Smile" project, the organization seeks out Holocaust survivors who have life threatening diseases and might need additional support.
