Programs

              

Using a national network of volunteer adoption specialists and partnering public and private agencies, AAN provides matching and support services to families who want to adopt special needs children. These services include but are not limited to: child placement services, Internet family registration services, pre-adoption training, home study services, pre-and post-adoption services, and respite care referral. AAN reports that on an annual basis, it helps to place about 200 children from U.S. foster care with permanent parents.
