Programs

              

UMMA reports that it serves a patient population of over 15,000 individuals who have logged over 25,000 visits. On average, the clinic sees 170 patients per week emphasizing regular visits that incorporate health screenings, immunizations, patient education, as well as life-style modification. When a disease/illness is diagnosed, the organization provides regular treatment with appropriate medications and lab testing. If a patient requires additional tests or specialty care, it provides automatic referral to county facilities. Currently UMMA provides Tuesday through Friday adult family medicine clinics; Wednesday and Saturday clinics for infants, children, and adolescents; childhood immunizations; semi-annual health fairs; HIV testing; specialty clinics for ophthalmology, gynecology, dermatology and teens; on-site laboratory providing medical tests; and direct referrals to local county medical facilities.
