Programs

              

Task Force coordinates activities focus on six public health areas including children’s health and development, public health informatics, infectious diseases, drug donation programs, injury prevention and conferences, consulting and collaboration. The drug donation program provides donated pharmaceuticals for the prevention and control of elephantiasis, river blindness, and soil transmitted intestinal worms. The public health informatics program advances the ability of public health practitioners to strategically manage health information systems that can improve public health capacity and effectiveness. The Lymphatic Filariasis Support Center performs research around the world to discover a workable strategy for the elimination of this disease. Task Force’s patient and family support programs are a national and international resource for advancing child health and development by delivering information to parents, national organizations and community groups. Health care programs provide logistical support for various public health conferences.
