Programs

               

IHI's programs focus on increasing the capacity of health care systems in developing countries to strengthen health care services for local populations by recruiting, training and supporting health workers. The organization works in 36 countries to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS and malaria; to improve maternal and child health and family planning; and to assist governments and local organizations in developing training, systems, and processes to improve health care delivery in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South and Central America.
