Yosemite Fund serves as the primary fundraising organization for Yosemite National Park to improve the park's natural, cultural and historic resources as well as the visitor experience. Through grants, Yosmite Fund repairs trails and re-landscapes degraded areas to return them to natural conditions. In wilderness areas, illegal campsites are erased, trails relocated and native species replanted. Yosmite Fund installs exhibits, produces brochures, and funds educational programs and cultural and historic preservation projects to broaden visitor knowledge and inspire stewardship. The organization conducts scientific research to create data and analysis to assist park planners in making decisions, protecting animal populations and assessing environmental conditions.
