Programs

              

NPCA works on the ground, in and around national parks, conducting research, and working with park staff, community leaders, park advocates, and state and federal legislators to ensure that national parks and monuments are well-funded, well-managed and well-protected for future generations. NPCA mobilizes citizens and joins with communities, businesses, landowners, and activists; promotes legislation that strengthens protections for the national parks, advocates for the funding of national parks and monuments, and establishes and enforces legal safeguards through the courts. Some ($2,217,016 or 8%) of NPCA's program activities are carried out in conjunction with fund raising appeals.
