Programs

              

MRC is a media watchdog that seeks to prove and counter media bias. MRC’s mission is accomplished through the publication of research and analyses; publishing special reports, special projects, newsletters, press releases and websites which are targeted to reporters, editors, publishers, producers, directors, talk show hosts, political leaders, members and donors. MRC operates seven program divisions including news analysis, Business and Media Institute, Culture and Media Institute, grassroots, Cybercast News Service, Eyeblast (multi-media), and youth education. Some ($642,710 or 8%) of MRC's program activities are carried out in conjunction with fund raising appeals.

MRC incurred joint costs of $1,567,586 for informational materials and activities that included fund raising materials. Of those costs, $909,200 was allocated to fund raising expenses, $642,710 was allocated to program expenses, and $15,676 was allocated to administration.
