Programs

              

Elderhostel aims to inspire adults to learn, discover and travel. The organization reports that it provides experiences for nearly 100,000 adults each year. Each year, participants in the Road Scholar program visit every state and 150 countries on more than 7,000 educational adventures, including intergenerational learning experiences, service-oriented programs, and active outdoor adventure programs. Road Scholar programs strive to bring together participants and instructors to foster engaging discussions. In addition, each year, the organization awards nearly $300,000 in scholarships to adults who might otherwise not be able to attend a program.
