Programs

              

IAHV's activities include youth empowerment and leadership, disaster relief and rehabilitation, sustainable rural development, chemical-free farming, environment, education, veterans trauma relief, food security and prisoner reform program. IAHV reports that in 2010, the organization reached out to more than 4,000 students in 20 high schools teaching them skills to manage negative emotions, stress and improve health. IAHV provided trauma relief to 2,380 earthquake survivors and 400 people have been taught how to grow food. In South Asia, IAHV has sponsored 4 tribal schools and continued to support the 5H program and other rural development programs.
