GII functions as a member association, representing the network of independent, community-based Goodwill agencies and providing products, services and expertise that support these local organizations. Each Goodwill agency is an autonomous member of GII. GII reports that this independence is the cornerstone of Goodwill's success for over 100 years, affording the the local Goodwill the flexibility to respond to community needs and opportunities.
