Programs

WJCF aims to inform and educate its membership through its monthly mailings about issues of relevance to the Jewish community. This includes information about the de-legitimization of the State of Israel, acts of anti-Semitism, countries that are recalcitrant in Holocaust restitution and progress on interfaith dialogue. In 2009, the WJCF president and other WJCF officials traveled to intercede with heads of state, heads of government and other leaders in Austria, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Poland and South Africa to make the case for Israel, to support small and endangered Jewish communities in Europe, the Former Soviet Union, Latin America and Africa, to call for action against acts of anti-Semitism and neo-Nazi activities in several East European countries. Additionally WJCF supports research and forums with international speakers and programs through The Israel Council on Foreign Relations. WJCF also hosts an interactive website that educates and informs its readership and sends email updates on matters of concern to the Jewish people. Further, the Foundation funds through a grants process the Global Corps of Jewish Diplomats so that they may recruit, train and empower the next generation of Jewish professionals, engaging them in diplomacy on behalf of Jewish interests worldwide.
