Programs

              

AHA strives to bring about a progressive society through its defense of civil liberties and secular governance, by its outreach to the people without traditional religious faith, and through a continued refinement and advancement of the humanist worldview. AHA lobbies on Capitol Hill and works in coalition with other groups on issues important to humanists. AHA sponsors conferences and local meetings across the nation to develop and define the philosophy of humanism. In addition to producing a bi-monthly magazine and quarterly newsletter, AHA educates the public about humanist issues through books and other materials and publications
