Evaluation Conclusions

              

New Hope Uganda Ministries (NHUM) does not meet the following Standard for Charity Accountability.

Standard 3: Frequency and Attendance of Board Meetings - An organization shall have a minimum of three evenly spaced meetings per year of the full governing body with a majority in attendance, with face-to-face participation. A conference call of the full board can substitute for one of the three meetings of the governing body. For all meetings, alternative modes of participation are acceptable for those with physical disabilities.

NHUM does not meet this Standard because:

  • The board of directors held two face-to-face meetings during 2011.

Programs

              

NHUM has a vision for the growing number of fatherless and orphaned children in Uganda. The organization seeks to bring them into the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ and to bring the Fatherhood of God to them in tangible ways caring for the whole child. NHUM trains children to become productive citizens of Uganda and the Kingdom of God, and through these children, reach future generations as these orphans are equipped to care for other orphans.
