Programs

              

In 2007 MTTF reports distributing 16.8 million toys to 7.5 million children. The organization provides the leadership and managerial oversight for the Toys for Tots Program which consists of over 600 local campaigns taking place in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. MTTF also raises funds to provide toys to supplement the collections of local coordinators; provides administrative, advisory, financial, logistic and promotional support to local coordinators; conducts fund raising, public education and information programs; works with corporations to raise funds; and solicits toy and book donations from manufacturers. Some ($1,696,723 or 21%) of MTTF's program expenses are carried out in conjunction with fund raising appeals.
