Programs

              

CW provides humanitarian and spiritual services to children and families around the world through its domestic and international programs. The organization promotes the well being of poor and malnourished children through feeding programs, survival paks, which provide staple goods for children, and through general relief shipments. Another of the organization’s programs is operated through the Starfish Fund that provides medical treatment and also covers expenses in certain educational emergencies.

Child Sponsorship

              

CW seeks $35 a month to sponsor a child from one of the countries in which it currently operates.  The organization reports that sponsors receive the child's photograph in a passport with information on the child and a complete child sponsorship packet by mail in approximately 2 weeks.  To strengthen the relationship between the sponsor and the child, correspondence, photographs, prayers, and sometimes personal visits are encouraged.

The sponsorship program supports children through high school or vocational school, which gives them the opportunity to get a job and become self-sufficient.
