PSBI operates Welcome House which serves children throughout the world by providing the opportunity to grow in a permanent family. The organization strives to continue the legacy of its founder, Pearl S. Buck, by providing a high standard of adoption services, advocacy, and lifelong support to adopted persons and their families. PSBI’s Opportunity House expands opportunities for children and families who would otherwise be denied health care, education, livelihood, and psycho-social support by developing and delivering resources and standards of excellence to affiliates and partner agencies throughout the world. Pearl S. Buck House promotes the legacy of Pearl S.
