Programs

              

ORBIS reports that they have conducted programs in 88 countries, trained more than 288,000 healthcare professionals, and provided vision services to nearly 15 million children and adults. The organization provides tools, training and technology necessary for local partners in the developing world to understand their needs and develop workable and lasting solutions to unnecessary blindness. By building long-term capacity, primarily through training of ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals, ORBIS works to provide its partner institutions with the means of providing quality eye care services that are affordable, accessible and sustainable.
