Programs

              

PSB's programming and services include the preschool, lower school, secondary, and Deafblind programs, which enroll children and young adults from birth to age 22. These programs aim to maximize the strengths and potential of students in preparation for their lives. PSB's outreach programs include early intervention for infants and toddlers, courses for students who attend public school, a low vision clinic, an elders program, and parental support activities. The Perkins Training Center provides in-service teacher education. PSB's library distributes Braille and talking books to patrons. Internationally, PSB works in partnership with schools, parent organizations, universities, government representatives, and international agencies to improve educational opportunities for children who are deafblind or blind with additional disabilities.
