Programs

              

JBA offers early intervention, education, rehabilitation, and recreation programs to serve students on its South Los Angles campus, at its campground in the Santa Monica Mountains and across the community. Nearly three-quarters of families served by JBA are low income, and all direct services are offered free of charge. JBA’s infant and early childhood program serves children who are multi-disabled blind. The organization’s special education school and children’s residential program are dedicated to educating and training those who are multi-disabled blind. JBA’s Camp Bloomfield employs the staff trained to specially serve campers who are multi-disabled blind. The organization’s after school enrichment program offers an integrated after school program blending children who are visually impaired or multi-disabled blind with their sighted peers. JBA’s student transition and enrichment program and its Davidson program aim to help teens and adults with vision loss gain the skills necessary to pursue higher education, gain employment and to achieve fulfilling and independent lives.
