Programs

              

HKI reports that its programs are active in 21 countries in Africa and Asia, as well as in the U.S. HKI’s Eye Health programs focus on the major causes of blindness and low vision, including cataract, trachoma, onchocerciasis, diabetic retinopathy, vitamin A deficiency and refractive error. HKI’s nutrition programs include micronutrient supplementation, including vitamin A, anemia control, food fortification, homestead food production and the prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition.
