Programs

              

NAVS develops educational programs that present humane alternatives and practical solutions to advance science without harming animals. These efforts include programs to educate the general public, to assist students and teachers with humane science education, to advance innovative scientific initiatives, to promote greater protection for animals through legal and legislative efforts, to foster cooperative efforts, and to assist animals in emergency situations. Some ($381,737 or 23%) of NAVS' program activities are carried out in conjunction with fund raising appeals.
