Programs

              

CRSC provides transitional housing properties for low to moderate income persons in Arizona, Kansas, Ohio, Texas, Iowa and Virginia through programs like “Homes for the Homeless.” Some of its properties offer service enriched housing and community centers with after-school, adult education, and other life skill programs. CRSC local affiliates also provide transitional housing for homeless persons, permanent housing for mentally ill adults, and housing and family therapy to victims of domestic violence. Through its domestic relief and self-help programs, CRSC provides emergency assistance, school supplies, new shoes, winter coats, blankets, toys, hygiene items, food, housing and youth projects. It also operates an American Indian relief and self-help program which assists American Indian families with food, water, basic relief and support services for youth and their families including programs fostering self-reliance. Through its international relief and sustainable development program, CRSC assists individuals in nine African countries and Lithuania through support of grassroots initiatives and hospitals by providing medicines, medical supplies, medical reagents and clean water, education, orphan care, vocational training, literacy and agricultural assistance.
