AFSC engages in advocacy, education and direct service activities to end violent conflict and to bring about a more peaceful and just world. The organization works to empower individuals with tools for addressing conflicts and economic and social justice issues constructively in their lives and communities. AFSC supports marginalized communities in their journey to challenge injustices and violence and it works to confront and transform conditions of violence generated by or between communities and political states. Some ($627,664 or 2%) of AFSC's programs are conducted in conjunction with fund raising appeals.
