Programs

              

Hand in Hand Ministries works to make its vision a reality through a number of agency projects in Belize, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Haiti and the United States. The agency also partners with other local organizations. In general, Hand In Hand Ministries works in Central America, the Caribbean and Appalachia. Hand In Hand Ministries does not proselytize, letting its actions speak for the organization. Agency projects include building homes and operating the first and only day treatment and outreach for children with HIV/AIDS in Belize. In Managua, Nicaragua, the agency sponosrs ove 50 students enrolled in provate schools and assists their families through its holistic scholarship programs, Pathway to Change. Agency efforts in Appalachia flow through The Auxier Center near Prestonsburg, KY and into parts of West Virginia and include computer education and distribution, a food pantry, material and moral support for families in need and home renovations.
