Programs

              

Planned Parenthood of Kentucky services and programs include medical services and education programs. Medical services provided include: gynecological examinations including breast exams and cervical cancer screening; family planning including contraceptive counseling and methods such as oral contraceptive pills (OCPs), intrauterine contraception (IUC), depo-provera, and Implanon; pregnancy testing; options counselings; , testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases for men, women and teens, sterilization counseling, Level I infertility screening, mid-life care, HPV vaccination, morning after contraceptive care, and HIV counseling and testing. All medical services are delivered in a manner consistent with federal, state, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America guidelines, regulations, and protocols; and are supervised by a licensed, board-certified physician. A quality assurance program assures consistent health care for all patients. PPKY serves as a referral center for individuals requesting or requiring medical services not offered by the affiliate. The affiliate provides educational outreach and professional training. In addition, PPKY also may provide certain social and/or medical services complementary to our mission in order to better serve our communities.
