Programs

              

PWP trains service dogs for placement with qualified recipients who are experiencing some form of disability and are in need of assistance to improve their quality of life. We have puppies in training in the Puppy Prison Program at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women, and we have part-time trainers who work with the puppies on the weekends. We regularly do presentations at local schools and religious and civic groups throughout the community to increase awareness about our organization, and we are working to establish a therapy dog program at the VA Hospital.
