Programs

              

Operation Care's programs and services include: Our Omega House provides the first level of transitional housing for women and children who are homeless due to eviction, job loss, divorce, or domestic abuse. This housing level provides individual rooms for each woman sheltered and a community living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. Once a woman enters Omega House, she begins our Forward Motion program. In this program we offer programs with guidelines and accountability for bringing positive changes to the lives of the women we serve. Our Hall Manor facility provides a second level of transitional housing for those women whom we deem ready to advance to more independent living (along with their children, if any). Residents in Hall Manor continue in our Forward Motion program, becoming increasingly accountable for making progress towards self-sufficiency. Our Encore Shop thrift store/Helps Program provides basic necessities such as personal hygiene products, clothes, furniture, household goods, food, school supplies, and diapers to families with profound need. Thrift store sale proceeds are used to fund our entire operation, including our housing, helps, and medical program. Our Mercy Medical Clinic offers free primary health care, lab tests,medications, and dental care (except for requesting a co-pay of $10) to anyone who is uninsured and financially disadvantaged. The clinic is open 5 days a week. Operation Care also provides food, clothing, and furniture to males and females in need of emergency assistance.
