Programs

              

Hand in Hand Ministries works to make its vision a reality through a number of agency projects in Belize, Nicaragua and the Appalachian region in the United States. The agency also partners with other local organizations. In general, Hand In Hand Ministries works in Central America, the Caribbean and Appalachia. Hand In Hand Ministries does not proselytize, letting its actions speak for the organization. Agency projects include building homes and operating an outreach program for children and their families who are marginalized by poverty and disease. In Managua, Nicaragua, the agency sponsors over 60 students enrolled in private schools and assists their families through its holistic scholarship programs, Pathway to Change. Agency efforts in Appalachia flow through The Auxier Center near Prestonsburg, KY and into parts of West Virginia and include computer education and distribution, a food pantry, material and moral support for families in need and home renovations.
