1. Advocacy: BIAK advocates for laws that support our mission. The organization has been instrumental in passing mandatory seat belt laws, a graduated license law, TBI Trust Fund. Currently the organization is advocating for insurance companies to cover cognitive rehab. 2. The organization provides education by sponsoring The Brain Injury Summit. 3. The organization does prevention by hosting helmet give aways 4. The organization has four employees doing outreach with brain injury victims and their families.
