St. Benedict Center provides child care services for children six weeks to twelve years of age. Approximately 83% of the children are from families that are at or below the poverty level. Fees for child care services are received from third party reimbursement programs and daily parent charges. Support is also received in the form of a contribution from Metro United Way.

Programs

              

St. Benedict Center strives to provide opportunities and experiences enabling children to grow physically, psychologically, intellectually, and socially, in a caring, loving, and safe environment. Daily programs include teacher directed activities in language arts, music, science, reading readiness, art, outdoor play, dance, and free play. The Center also provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon supplement for the children through a federally subsidized nutrition program.
