Programs

              

Lifebridge for Animals addresses the issue of pet overpopulation at its root. Through humane education the organization teaches children to value and respect the lives of animals. By addressing important pillars of character such as respect, responsibility, kindness, compassion and integrity, the agency adheres to the principle that children will grow into more caring, compassionate human beings who will make the world a better place for us all. The organization also adheres to the principle that through humane education our children will not only treat animals with kindess and respect, they will treat others with kindness and respect as well. The program is character based and formatted to meet core curriculum requirements. The other service provided addresses pet overpopulation through spaying/neutering to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. Spaying/neutering is an important part of respondible pet ownership. It is also crucial in reducing the number of homeless pets.
