Programs

              

Angel Flight Central (AFC) matches people (residing in KS, MO, IA, NE, IL, WI, IN, MN, ND & SD) in need with nearly 700 volunteer pilots to fly them at no charge to and from their needed medical care and treatment. AFC also provides humanitarian flights that include; natural and national disaster relief, relocating domestic violence victims, transporting children to special-needs camps, delivering breast milk to rural children's centers, flying physicians into Indian reservations to deliver care, and returning Servicemen/women to their homes. AFC reports that in the last 15 years, its pilots have flown over 7 million charitable miles and that in 2009, it successfully coordinated over 2,600 flights.
