Programs

              

The Source for Women offers free pregnancy testing, ultrasound, professional counseling, the Wise Woman Project, Single Sisterhood Experiment, mentoring and advocacy, and classes in Spanish and English in marraige and relationships, nutrition, cooking, money management, parenting, anger management, childbirth and Bible Study. We offer speaking engagements to youth regarding abstinence, dating, boundaries, self esteem and healthy relationships. In 2010, The Source accomplished the following: • Served 1,474 individuals (866 were new clients) • Over 60% of women considering abortion chose life • Conducted 49,139 minutes of counseling • Conducted 1,394 education hours to nearly 300 individuals • Performed 411 ultrasounds • Provided for 787 material assistance room visits • Re-opened a second center in northeast Houston
