Programs

              

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center aspires to meet all of the red blood cell needs of the patients in the communities we serve. In 2011 The Blood Center collected more than 333,000 donations, enough to help save nearly 1 million lives. The blood helped patients in over 170 hospitals and healthcare facilities in a 26-county region. By providing an adequate blood supply to our service region, they ensure that surgeries proceed as scheduled, therapeutic transfusions continue without disruption and trauma victims receive life-saving blood in a critical time frame.
