Programs

              

The Cenikor Foundation is a long-term substance abuse treatment community with long-term treatment facilities located in Houston, TX, Fort Worth, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA; detox and short-term residential treatment located in Lake Charles, LA. The Cenikor long-term program is an 18-month residential treatment program, with an additional 3 to 6 months of additional aftercare, if needed. Residents receive substance abuse education, rehabilitation, and counseling. They are also required to complete vocational training through work experiences in the facility and/or a job in the community that provides hands-on training. The organization's long-term residential treatment centers serve 500 clients daily. Cenikor also has an in-prison therapeutic community for women located at the Henley Prison Unit in Dayton, TX. During fiscal year 2011, Cenikor provided services to over 1,154 individuals, having 101 residents graduate the long-term residential program and 229 complete the Henley Program. In February 2011, Cenikor began operating a 46-bed rehabilitation and detoxification program located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
