Programs

              

Career & Recovery Resources, Inc. supports and maintains the following programs and services: Employment Services and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment. Employment Services: offers individual and group counseling, testing, job search skills training, job development and placement for the unemployed, supervised work experience, literacy education, specialized services for older workers, life skills for at-risk youth, special services for persons with disabilities, employment and literacy training for the hearing impaired and other employment related services. Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment: offers individual and group family and counseling services, urinalysis screening, HIV testing, referral, education and other substance abuses treatment and education services to a variety of clients, many of whom come through the judicial system. Specialized substance abuse education is provided for youth, and specialized services for women are also provided. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Program - assists families with household income. 2010 Summer Youth Program - provides jobs for low income youth. SSBG IKE Recovery Employment Services - assists individuals materially affected by Hurricane Ike 80% of average median family income. In 2011, they served more than 8,900 adults and over 6,400 youth through a variety of activities.
