Programs

              

The Fibromyalgia Association of Houston, Inc. provides numerous ways to support and educate the public about Fibromyalgia Syndrome. In particular, this organization provides bi-monthly meetings at the First Congregational Church, 10840 Beinhorn, Houston, TX. Health care practitioners are invited to speak as these meetings, and free educational materials are provided. The Fibromyalgia Association of Houston, Inc. also publishes a free newsletter three times per year and has approximately 2,500 subscribers, mainly in the Houston Metropolitan area. This organization also offers a patient conference every other year. FMAH also offer telephone support through an Information Line, and, in 2010, they answered 225 calls. Their website provides more information to those who suffer from Fibromyalgia Syndrome, and, in 2010, they corresponded via email to over 150 people.
