Programs

              

VIC-SW provides free direct one-on-one assistance to elderly residents of 28 zip codes in the southwest Houston area. Such services include friendly phone calls and visits, minor home repairs, minor garden and yard work, and transportation to medical appointments and grocery stores. In 2012, Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers-Southwest increased the number of care receivers helped by 14%; increased the number of volunteers by 13%; and responded to 1, 760 caregiving requests for service.
