Programs

              

This Houston Hispanic Forum endeavors to educate Hispanic youth through Career and Education Day (CED) and its High School Senior Expo. In 2008, 18,000 students and parents attended Career and Education Day. The event provides over 150 panels on the value of getting an education; 200 universities, non-profit organizations, and corporate exhibitors provide information on entrance requirements, financial assistance, and careers. In addition, the Houston Hispanic Forum awards scholarships to qualifying Hispanic Senior high school students that participate in Career Day and other activities. The Houston Hispanic Forum awards over $30,000 in scholarships to 10 worthy students.
