Barbara Bush Library Friends offers the following programs: Support Library Program: funds library programming, purchases materials, adds improvements to facility, funds summer staff (2 part-time positions), and recruits volunteers. Outreach: Open House, Local author series, special workshops, participate in local community events (CultureFest) and planning groups (Cultural District) Fundraising: Bookstore (open 7 days/week), memberships, writes and secures grants, Buy a Book Children's Mural Campaign, and a Book Fair.
