Programs

              

The Junior League of Houston, Inc. is a committed corps of approximately 5,000 trained volunteers dedicated to "Building A Better Community." Throughout their membership, JLH volunteers participate in a training and education program focused on promoting leadership skills and addressing community issues. Approximately 1,500 active members each serve at least 72 volunteer hours in a JLH community or administrative project. The League provides trained volunteers and funding to more than 33 community programs. In addition, the League's community outreach efforts also include Community Assistance Grants, Community Collaboration, Community Emergency and Resource Contingency Grants, and Outside Board Representatives.
