The mission of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce Foundation is to support community interests in the northwest region of Harris County.

Programs

              

The Foundation will receive funds from fundraising activities and from corporate and individual donations. The Board will identify projects to to support in keeping with the organization's mission. On an ongoing basis, the Foundation has provided $1500 scholarships to deserving high school seniors each spring in keeping with the Thomas Hetherington Scholarship Program. Additionally, the Foundation has partnered with the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce to raise funds for and oversee the Green Medians project. This project will fund and implement a major landscaping project for medians that TXDOT is installing along a 9-mile stretch of FM 1960. Subsequent projects will support scholarships and community development efforts.
