Programs

              

The Foundation was established with three primary goals: Fund Research, Camp Pump-It-Up, and Support: Fund Research- To help fund the cardiomyopathy genetics clinic established by Texas Children’s Hospital of Houston, Texas. Camp Pump-It-Up- Texas Children’s Hospitals Cardiology clinic sponsors pediatric cardiomyopathy patients to a weekend summer camp each April where they can enjoy some of the “normalcies” of childhood. Support- To support the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF). CCF’s primary goal is to provide seed funding for research into pediatric cardiomyopathy causes and cures. In 2009, 63 people participated in the Houston Marathon Fundraiser, which raised approximately $27,000.
