Programs include: Residential Program, Developmental Center, Community Foster Care Program, After-Care and Outreach, Adoption Services, Post-Adoption Program, Hands of Hope Internship Program and Casa de Esperanza Academy. Residential Program: Emergency foster care for young children in crisis due to abuse, neglect, or the effects of HIV/AIDS; provides residential care and comprehensive medical, psychological and developmental services in agency or community foster homes. In 2013, over 500 clients received services through the Residential Program Support. Children's Developmental Center: provides psychological and developmental services for children in placement at Casa de Esperanza. In 2013, 37 children received 2,027 hours of physical, occupational and speech therapy were provided. After-Care and Outreach: provides support to families during a child's transition from placement at Casa back to his/her home; monitors family reunification for as long as is necessary to ensure the safety and well being of the child. In 2013, 60 families with 179 children received services. 310 home visits were made to these families. Adoption Services: provides an adoptive home when family reunification is inappropriate or impossible. In 2013, 10 adoptions were finalized. Post-Adoption Program: In 2013, 106 families, with 198 adoptive children, received services including: school consultations, crisis intervention and psychological consultations. Casa de Esperanza Academy: Serves school-aged children in adoptive homes who need extra support to become successful students. The Academy also provides a preschool program for 3-4 year olds living in the Casa neighborhood. Fort Bend County Program: In 2013, 3,594 days of residential care were provided for 23 Fort Bend County children. Hands of Hope Internship Program: In 2013, Casa de Esperanza had accepted 21 first-year interns.
