Programs

              

1. Child/Family Assistance: Personal equipment and nutritional needs, such as adaptive strollers, wheelchairs, and hearing aids, including children in Latin America. 2. Respite Care: skilled care during summer months at designated campuses and year-round “voucher” program for at-home care of select children. 3. Christmas/Snow Day: Holiday gifts provided to 4,322 qualified students in 17 districts and special event for students at two campuses. 4. Institutional Assistance: Major equipment donations and projects for schools and parks, such as barrier-free playgrounds and sensory room equipment. 5. S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Golf: One-of-a-kind portable miniature golf course used in multiple school districts for “Students Undertaking Challenging Courses Ensuring development of Sportsmanship and Skills.” 6. Camp: Barrier-free family camp weekend with activities such as horseback riding, archery, and lip-lining for select families. During the 2011-2012, Be An Angel Fund, Inc. served 4,966 special needs children from Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth area in it's annual Christmas Program; and provided 43 families with a weekend experience at Camp Be An Angel.
